Policies
The New Gateway International School (NGIS) policies cater to the individual needs of all of our students. At NGIS, we have created a safe and accepting academic environment where teachers work with students so that they are able to achieve their goals. We take an integrated, “community” based approach to learning, providing support so our students develop to become tomorrow’s leaders.
The significance of every individual’s contribution to society is important. Teachers at NGIS promote Student Development, Maturity, Problem Solving, Creativity and Critical Thinking. All aspects of a student’s schooling are Integrated and important in this process. Every student is Encouraged to Strive and become a Better Version of themselves through Self-Discipline, while also being encouraged to be Compassionate and Nurturing to others.
The Curriculum
NGIS offers a Tri-Lingual Curriculum (Khmer, Chinese, and English) in Primary and Secondary School. We deliver the Khmer National Curriculum in accordance with the Cambodian Ministry of Education. Delivering the IEYC Program to Early Years, NGIS offers the UK Cambridge Curriculum in Primary and Secondary, with the addition of IELTS Training and Testing. Incorporated into our Academically rich program is the integrated Chinese language and culture that focuses on language fluency in an effort to prepare our students for the business world after their Graduation. Our Students leave NGIS, having Graduated in possession of Cambodian High School Certificate, Cambodian and UK Cambridge Qualifications, along with language skills in Khmer, Chinese and English.

New Gateway International School empowers students to achieve educational, professional, and personal success through lifelong learning in our dynamic and original school. Students will be prepared for living successfully as future leaders and responsible caring members of Cambodian society. We provide specialized, comprehensive, and supportive educational experiences, foster academic integrity, and encourage lifelong learning.
